ABOUT MOORLANDS
Moorlands aim to be the premium supplier of cheese making kits, equipment, advice and support for individuals who care where their food comes from, what it contains and how it can benefit their health.
Our cheese making kits make excellent unusual Christmas and birthday presents, becoming very popular as the perfect wedding gift too, being practical, exciting and very rewarding.
Moorlands are proud to be supplying a large number of hotels, restaurants and delicatessens who wish to offer a selection of home made cheeses on their cheese boards.
Food technology centres, universities, schools and colleges order cheese making equipment on a regular basis, to use in food technology lectures, experiments and trials.
In 2001 Moorlands was brought down from Scotland in the back of a transit van to a pretty jersey dairy farm in Somerset, where it continues to grow providing products to over 30 countries.

Moorlands offer a comprehensive list of licensed milk suppliers who are more than happy to sell you non homogenised milk, in any quantity, direct from their farm or smallholding. They appear in alphabetical order on the 'Approved Purchasers' page.
All our products are suitable for all types of milk: goats, cows, sheep, buffalo (not soya).
We will do our very best to despatch orders by first class mail within 24 hours of receipt of payment, subject to stock availability. Orders received before 2.30pm have a much better chance of being delivered next day.
You have our promise to replace any item found to be faulty upon receipt and a full refund on any purchase returned within 7 days. No questions asked. Having said that, any constructive criticism would be gratefully received.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
The office is usually manned between 9.00am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday. Orders may be sent via post, fax, E-mail or web site at any time. Orders may be collected from the farm STRICKLY BY APPOINMENT.

PACKAGING AND SHIPPING
Packaging is charged at 5% of the total retail (cart) price plus £2.
Shipping is charged in addition at United Kingdom rates. For all other countries shipping will be calculated at the check out.
There are NO packaging and shipping costs on ALL Danisco cultures so orders including these cultures will be recalculated this end.
PAYMENT
We accept payment in £ sterling only. The easiest way to pay is by credit card (not Amex) or paypal@cheesemaking.co.uk. otherwise a euro cheque or foreign draft in £ sterling is acceptable. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Moorlands Cheesemakers Ltd and irrespective of value will be sent to the bank for clearing before goods are despatched.
