ABOUT MOORLANDS
Moorlands is a mail order service for small scale cheese makers at home and on the farm. Our purpose is to assist cheese makers to be as cost effective as possible by providing a “just in time” single source of the materials needed without having to carry large stocks. Expert advice is also available on the telephone and via short courses.
We aim to despatch orders by first class mail within 24 hours of receipt of payment, subject to availability of stock.
All our products are suitable for all types of milk: goats, cows, sheep, buffalo, (not soya).
We have been established since 1982. We are privately owned. We are based on a delightful organic Dairy (Jersey) Farm in Somerset, United Kingdom. We have provided products to over 40 countries worldwide.
We guarantee to replace any item found to be faulty upon receipt, or to refund the cost. Your statutory rights are not affected.
HOW TO ORDER
The office is usually manned between 8.45am and 3.45pm Mondays to Fridays – the rest of the time an aswerphone will take your calls. Fax, email, e-Bay and the website can be used at any time. Orders can be collected from the farm strictly by appointment.

PRICES
Prices may change without notice
Packaging and Shipping
Packaging is charged at 5% of the total retail (cart) price plus £2.
Shipping is charged in addition at United Kingdom rates. For all other Countries shipping will be calculated at the check out.
There is no packaging and shipping cost on * ALL DANISCO CULTURES *.
PAYMENT
We accept payment in £ Sterling only. The easiest way to pay is by credit card, otherwise a Eurocheque or Foreign Draft in £ Sterling is acceptable (including Ireland). Cheques or Postal Orders from outside the United Kingdom will be returned due to high bank conversion charges.
Unless paying by Credit Card (not Amex) we regret that we cannot send out goods without prior payment.
Cheques should be made out to Moorlands Cheesemakers and, irrespective of value, will be sent to the bank for clearing before goods are despatched. Cheques take at least 10 working days to clear so if you are in a hurry it is better to pay by credit card (or a postal order in the UK).
