Mozzarella Cheese Making Kit

Our Mozzarella cheese making kit contains everything you need to make homemade Mozzarella. Kit includes a recipe and instruction sheet, by kind permission from Chris Ashby, An Introduction to Cheesemaking at Home, dial thermometer, 400grams cheese salt, 300grams citric acid and 60ml dropper bottle of vegetarian rennet. Mozzarella is not the easiest cheese to make and requires a little practise to perfect stretching the curds. If your first couple of attempts are disappointing, do not get disheartened as you will be rewarded. The vegetarian rennet included in the kit is cheese rennet and can be used in conjuction with starter cultures to make many different types of cheese and the delicious pudding Junket. Your home made Mozzarella should be eaten immediately or within 3-4 days when stored in the fridge.
